Deputy Commissioner Dr. Himanshu Aggarwal on Wednesday conducted the surprise inspection of government offices in the Phillaur Subdivision. He visited the SDM office and Tehsil complex wherein he took stock of the working of these offices.
The Deputy Commissioner also visited Sewa Kendra and inspected the services being offered to people. He also interacted with the people and took their valuable feedback. Likewise, he visited the election cell and directed the officials to perform the duty with dedication to ensure proper disposal of election related work.
The Deputy Commissioner asked all the officers to ensure that people do not face any sort of difficulty in getting their routine administrative work done.
Dr. Aggarwal said that this inspection was a supportive supervision to the functioning of the various departments and was not aimed at fault finding but to remove shortcomings, if any, in the government offices. The Deputy Commissioner directed the officials to maintain the registers properly.
The Deputy Commissioner checked the record keeping besides asking the officials to ensure that there was no pendency of any sort in the office.
