When it comes to install its signboards by the Kotkapura police, including the main gate to the office of the DSP Kotkapura, CID Kotkapura, Saanjh Kendra and the outside wall of the police station, city Kotkapura, advertisers, particularly which are looked upon with suspicion because of the fraudulent activities, are given a free run by the police.
The advertisers allegedly put up the sign boards by spending a small amount of money for their comparatively big gains, at the main entrance of the DySP of Police Kotkapura, CID office Kotkapura and Sanjh Kendra Kotkapura.
The advertisers have occupied the prominent space allegedly just for shedding a small amount of money for making, painting and writing on the sign boards.
The office of the DSP Kotkapura has a sign board with the advertisement by an immigration consultancy on the left side, the main focus of the eveys.
The Sanjh kendra Kotkapura even allowed more space to the same advertiser than itself. The immigration consultancy has used most of the space for itself and written atop the words”Sanjh Kendra”only.
The CID department has left nothing behind. Its sign board has been seen advertising a hotel and lehnga house.
Ironically,while the Punjab police boasts of its robust network fully supported by the Mann government, still it allows the advertisers to occupy its main space even outside the offices of the DSP,CID office, Sanjh Kendra and the major boundary wall of the city police station.
Above all, even all the barricades of the police, which could ideally be used to write the motto of the police, are allowed to be used by the adveerizes. The barricades of the police used in Kotkapura, some of them seem to be borrowed from Muktsar police advertise the cement companies.
If the police department does not have sufficient funds to write its sign boards, it must have asked the government for it. When the space is provided to the advertisers for just putting sign boards at important places belonging to the police, the advertisers are allegedly identified to have a special approach to the police.
The immigration consultancies have many times been found in violation of laws and no space should be allowed to them.
The outside boundary wall of the city police station KOtkapura is mainly occupied by the immigration consultants for their advertisements.
