The Nurmahal police have arrested a drug peddler on the charge of selling intoxicant tablets.
Investigating officer (IO) Varinder Mohan Singh said that 4108 intoxicant tablets (loose) were recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Jagdev Singh son of Mukhtiar Singh a resident of Dharme Dian Chhana village under Mehat Pur police station.
IO said that a case under section 22 /61/85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused and impounded his swift car in which he was traveling to sell the contraband.
