The Bilga police have arrested a car driver on charges of causing death by negligence, and mischief.
Investigating officer (IO) Ashwani Kumar said that the accused has been identified as Soni son of Davinder Kumar a resident of Mowai village under Bilga police station.
Bharast Mehata a resident of Mohalla Chaunni Ludhiana complained to the police that his brothers Shubam Mehra and Arash Deep were returning home on April 4 when the accused hit his motorcycle near a Partap Pura village killed Shubam
IOsaid that a case under sections 304-A (causing death by negligence),279(rash driving) 337 and 338(act endangering life or personal safety of others), and 427(mischief) of the IPC has been registered against the accused.
