NAKODAR
The Nakodar City police have booked an unidentified driver on charges of causing death by negligence, and mischief.
Ramesh Kumar a resident of Mohalla Gauns Nakodar complained to the police that his brother Chandar Mohan (33) was returning home on March 3 night when an unidentified vehicle hit his motorcycle near a government school and killed him.
Investigating Officer Harinder Pal said that a case under sections 304-A (causing death by negligence),279(rash driving) 337 and 338(act endangering life or personal safety of others), and 427(mischief) of the IPC has been registered against the unidentified accused.
