The Nurmahal police have arrested a conspirator on the charges of attacking police and freed the arrested accused from police custody.
Station House Officer (SHO) Varinder Pal Singh said that the accused has been identified as Mohamad Sai son of Mohamad Bakhash a resident of Chema Kala village.
SHO said that the accused had conspired to free Saif Ali alias Saifu son of Yusuf a resident of Bundala village under Nurmahal wanted in a case of kidnapping registered in Purana Shala police station (Gurdas Pur) was hiding at Chemma Kalan village. The Gurdas Pur police arrested the accused who is still absconding.
SHO said a case under sections 186(obstructing public servant in discharge of public functions) 353(assault or use of force to deter public servant from discharging his duty) 225(obstruction by a person to his lawful apprehension) 120-(criminal conspiracy) and 34(committing a crime with common intention ) of the IPC was registered against the accused and others.
