NAKODAR
The Nakodar Sadar police have arrested two drug peddlers on the charge of selling intoxicant tablets.
Investigating officer (IO) and Uggi police post in-charge Balbir Singh said that 1018 intoxicant tablets (loose) were recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Soni alias Kama son of Sarwann Singh a resident of Bhandal Dona village and Jagtar Singh alias Jaggi son of Bisakhi Singh a resident of Wara Dona village under Sadar Kapurthala police station.
IO said that a case under section 22 /61/85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused.
