JALANDHAR
The Election Commission of India (ECI) on Friday appointed Dr Ankur Gupta I.P.S as Jalandhar(rural) Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP).
Doctor Gupta had worked as Deputy Commissioner (law and order) in Jalandhar Commissionerate.
Punjab Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Sibin. C said that ECI has appointed SSPs of five districts in the state.
CEO said that Simrat Kaur has been appointed Malerkotla SSP, Suhail Qasim as SSP Pathan Kot, Deepak Pareek as Bathinda SSP, and Pragya Jain has been appointed Fajilka SSP.
