NAKODAR
The Nakodar Sadar police have slapped rape charge against a arrested youth who had kidnapping a minor.
Station House Officer (SHO) Jai Pal said that the victim was rescued from the possession of the accused whose statement was recorded under section 164 of the C.D.C. in a court.
SHO said that rape charge has been slapped against Kuldeep Singh alias Deepu son Harwinder Singh of a resident of Jahangir village on the basis of the victim’s statement .
SHO said that a case under sections 363(kidnapping) and 366(kidnapping abducting a woman to compel her marriage) of the IPC was registered against the accused and sections 376(rape)506(criminal intimidation) and section 6 of POSCO Act have been added in the FIR.
