The Mahet Pur police have arrested a proclaimed offender (PO) absconding for the last many years. Investigating officer Davinder Singh said that the accused has been identified as Som Lal alias Soma son of Sewa Ram a resident of Warianna Dona village under Sadar Kapurthala police station and wanted in a case of murder registered in 2019.
The Lohian Khas police arrested a PO Ramesh son of Jagga a resident of Rame village under Shahkot police station and wanted in a case of drug peddling.
