Police personnel today held a flag march to instill confidence among the people for the coming parliamentary polls.
Starting from the city police station dozens of cops and paramilitary force on foot covered the entire town.
"We are fully prepared to ensure peace during polls and to deal with a heavy hand with anybody who tried to breach the peace," said Jalandhar(rural) Senior Superintended of Police M.S.Bhullar, who headed a march at Nakodar. He said one company of paramilitary force has been deployed in the town and has demanded more companies.
