NAKODAR
The Nakodar Sadar police have arrested a drug peddler on the charge of selling heroin.
Station house officer (SHO)Jai Pal said that 26 grams of heroin were recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Vishal son of Manga Ram a resident of Chuharr village.
SHO said that cases under sections 2(b) /61/85 of the NDPS Act have been registered against the accused and impounded his scooter (without number) on which he was traveling with the contraband and assistant sub-inspector Kulwinder Singh is conducting further investigation.
