The Bilga police have booked a motorcyclist on the charge of killing the Nurmahal photographer.
Investigating Officer (IO) Avtar Lal said that the accused has been identified as Rajan son of Mohinder Pal a resident of Poadharra village.
Harjinder Kumar a resident of Paalnau village under Phillaur police station complained to the police that the accused was driving his bike fast and rashly and hit Iqbal Singh ‘s motorcycle on the Bilga-Nurmahal road near a religious place on March 11 and killed prominent Nurmahal photographer.
IO said that a case under section 304-A (causing death by negligence) 279(rash driving on a public way) and 427(mischief) of the IPC has been registered against Rajan.
