Aiming to ensure the smooth conduct of upcoming general elections, Jalandhar District Administration on the directions of the Election Commission of India (ECI) organized a special training session for district-level masters trainees and assembly-level masters trainers for various election-related tasks.
State Level Master Trainers including Additional Deputy Commissioner Jasbir Singh, Additional Deputy Commissioner Amit Mahajan, and SDM Balbir Raj Singh imparted training to DLMTs and ALMTs during the training session. They provided insight into various tasks concerning various election tasks including postal ballot, ETPBS, EVMs, VVPSTs, Counting & Declaration of Results, MCC, EEM, Media Complaints, MCMC, Paid News, Vulnerability Mapping, E-Roll, ETONET, SVEEP, IT Application, DEMP, polling parties, and Poll Day arrangements.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Jasbir Singh said that the main aim of the training was to ensure that a platform was offered to the officers to keep them abreast with the latest technological advancements in the democratic setup. Election Tehsildar Sukhdev Singh, Election Kanoongo Rakesh along with other offices were present in the meeting.
