Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Sarangal today visited the Gymkhana club Jalandhar to review the ongoing voting process.
Expressing satisfaction over the election-related arrangements, the Deputy commissioner said that the whole process is going smoothly. He also reviewed the arrangements made for the counting of votes in the evening.
The Deputy commissioner said that the MCC has been implemented in true spirit and manner to maintain a level playing field for all candidates besides deploying adequate security personnel for a free and fair election.
Returning officer Amarjit Bains and ADC Jasbir Singh were also present on the occasion.
