NAKODAR
A 29-year-old youth committed suicide on Wednesday.
Investigating Officer (IO) Rannjit Singh said that the deceased has been identified as Gurwinder Kumar son of Jita a resident of Dane Wal village under Shahkot police station.
Manider Kumar brother of the deceased told the police that Gurwinder hanged himself to end his life in the Nakodar area.
IO said that the police acting under section 174 of the Cr.P.C.. handed over the body to the family after post-mortem.
