The Nakodar Sadar police have arrested a thief for stealing cattle.
Investigating officer (IO)Janak Raj said that the accused has been identified as Ahjaj Khan alias Iliaus a resident of Delhi.
Balbir Singh a resident of Sahem village had complained to the police that the accused and his accomplice thieves struck at his cattle shed on November 13 night,2023, and decamped with four buffalos.
IO said that a case under section 380(theft in dwelling house) and 457(house trespass) of the Indian Penal Code was registered against the accused.
