The Pandori village resident who was booked for murdering his co-village has succumbed to his injuries in a Jalandhar clinic.

 Station House Officer (SHO) Dharminder Kaliyan said that Rannjit Singh alias Ranna son of Mohan Singh a resident of Pandori Khas village crushed to death Jagdeep Singh son of Baldev Singh a resident of the same village on February 25 and was seriously injured fleeing after committing the crime and was under treatment and succumbed to injuries.

Sukhdeep Singh brother of Jagdeep Singh had complained to the police that the victim was going to his fields on his motorcycle on Sunday morning when the accused driving his vehicle fast killed Jagdeep by crushing him beneath his vehicle and repeated action of crushing Jagdeep by putting his vehicle in reverse gear.

 

He had said that before this the accused also tried to kill him and his nephew and fled away and his car lost control after it hit another car and collided with a roadside tree resulting in the death of Ram Pal son of Piara Lal a resident of Pandori who was traveling with the accused who was also injured. The Nakodar City police had registered a case under sections 302(murder) 304-A (causing death by negligence) and 427(mischief) of the Indian Penal Code against Rannjit Singh alias Ranna. SHO said that the body of the deceased has been handed over to the family after post-mortem.
