JALANDHAR
An inter-state coordination meeting was convened at PAP Jalandhar under the chairmanship of M.F Farooqui, IPS, Addl. Director General of Police, State Armed Police, Jalandhar-cum-State Police Nodal Officer(SPNO), for establishing an Inter State Co-ordination among various agencies to ensure free, fair and impartial General Parliamentary Elections-2024.
This is first of kind Meeting in which the participants belonged to a wide spectrum of Departments and henceforth, numerous novel & original ideas came to the fore during the Meeting, to ensure free & fair General Parliamentary Elections 2024.
The core issues discussed during the meeting included the Co-ordination and strengthening of Inter-State Borders, the Use of Technology to curb the menace of Drugs, Law and Order Issues, Arrest of P.O and execution of Non-Bailable Warrants, Implementation of Preventive Measures, Checking/monitoring of History Sheeters/Anti-social Elements etc.
Earlier Inderbir Singh DIG (Admin), PAP, Jalandhar delivered the Welcome Speech as Rajpal Singh Sandhu, DIG PAP-II Jalandhar thanked the participants of the Meeting, who had graced the occasion.
