The Shahkot police have arrested Raman a resident of Mohalla Bagh Wala, Shahkot on the charge of gambling.
Investigating officer Buta Singh said that the accused was selling betting slips in the town street and recovered from his possession Rs 1350 and betting slips with a pen. A case under sections 13-A-3 -67 of the Punjab Gambling Act has been registered against the accused.
