In a dare-devil incident of theft, thieves barged into a money exchange office near the city police station on Sunday night and decamped away with cash and a laptop.
Harpreet Singh owner of Sat Guru Enterprises office road told media persons that thieves barged into the office and stole Rs 2.5 Lakhs, a laptop, He said that he has complained to the Nakodar city police and the whole incident has been recorded.in CCTV cameras. The police reached the spot for investigations.
Increasing incidents of thefts have created a sense of insecurity and fear among residents and put a question mark on police functioning.
