The Shahkot police have arrested a drug peddler on the charge of selling intoxicant tablets.
Investigating Officer (IO) Kewal Singh said that 150 intoxicant tablets (loose) were recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Saurav son of Hari Krishan a resident of Mohalla Bagh Wala, Shahkot.
IO said that a case under section 22(b)/61/85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused.
