The Nakodar Sadar police have booked two unidentified tipper drivers on the charge of causing death by negligence.
Yog Raj a resident of Bajuha Kalan village complained to the police that he was returning home on his motorcycle and his wife and grant daughter were pillion riding when an earth-loaded tipper driver crushed his wife Kamaljit Kaur to death and seriously injured his granddaughter Avneet Kaur on Friday near Dhailwal village on the Dhaliwal- _Bajuha Kalan link road and another topper driver did not stop his vehicle.
Investigating Officer Lovleen Kumar said that a case under sections 304-A (causing death by negligence) and 279(rash driving) 337 338(causing serious injuries to another person by acting recklessly or negligently) and 427(mischief) of the IPC had been registered against unidentified drivers
