The Nakodar Sadar police have booked unidentified persons on the charge of illegal mining.
Rohit Kumar junior engineer cum mining inspector Nakodar Shahkot complained to the police that the accused were extracting more earth in Dhaliwal village than permitted by MKC company.
Investigating Officer Sukhwinder Singh said that a case under section 379(theft) of the IPC and section 21(2) of Mines and Minerals 1957 has been registered against the unidentified accused and impounded 4 fork lane machines,2 tippers, and three tractors.
