The Nakodar City police have arrested a villager on the charges of breach of trust, cheating, and criminal crimination.
Investigating officer (IO)Dilbag Singh said that the accused has been identified as Anurag Bharajdwaj son of Ashok Kumar a resident of Hairan village.
Vajir Singh a resident of Army Enclave Phase 01 Deena village had complained to Jalandhar (rural ) senior superintendent of police that the accused was an employee of Malwa Capital Finance Company Limited Nakodar branch and acting with common intention helped in financing 11 vehicles on loan from the company branch and embezzled Rs 4,56,699 from areas and did not deposited Rs 95,705 of installments in the company account and kept with him an amount of Rs 2,26761of company and thus cheated
IO said that a case under sections 406(breach of trust), 408(breach of trust by a clerk) 420(cheating), and 120-B (criminal conspiracy) of the IPC was registered against the accused after an inquiry and his brother Deekshant who is absconding.
