The Mehat Pur police have arrested a proclaimed offender (PO) who has been absconding for the last few days. Investigating officer (IO) Davinder Singh said that the accused has been identified as Balkar Singh alias Balkari son of Roop Lal a resident of Dharma Dian Chhana village and wanted in a case of drug peddling registered in 2023 and was declared a PO recently.
