The Lohian Khas police have booked three villagers on the charge of brewing illicit country-made liquor.
Investigating officer Bhajan Singh said that the accused have been identified as Harjinder, Gurpreet, and Mukhtiar Singh residents of Ismail Pur village.
1500 kg lahhan(raw liquor) 15 bottles of hooch and utensils for brewing were recovered from their possession they managed to flee from the spot. A case under section 61/1/14 of the Excise Act has been registered against the accused and impounded two motorcycles.
