The Shahkot police have booked a car driver villager on the charge of rash driving.
Investigating Officer (IO) Balvir Chand said the accused has been identified as Sukhraj Singh son of Bakhtaur Singh a resident of Bii Chuharmi village.
Bahadar Singh a resident of Gandhi Chowk Shahkot complained to the police that the accused was driving his car fast and negligently on January 10 and hit his motorcycle near Kutia Shahkot injuring him seriously and damaged bike.
IO said a case under sections 279(rash driving), 337,338(causing grievous hurt by act endangering life or personal safety of others,)(and 427( mischief causing
damage) has been registered against the accused.
