The Mehat Pur police have arrested a proclaimed offender (PO) who has been absconding for the last year. Investigating officer Jaswinder Singh said that the accused has been identified as Amrik Singh son of Jiwan Singh a resident of Akul Wal village under Sidhwan Bet police station Ludhiana wanted in a case of outraging a woman’s modesty.
The Shahkot police also arrested PO Harjit Singh son of Sukhvir Singh a resident of Punia village and his brother Lovnit Singh wanted in a case of violating an order issued by a government officer said, IO Dalwara Singh.
