The Shahkot police have booked a father-son duo on the charge of illegal construction on NRI’s plot.
Investigating officer (IO) Kashmir Singh said that the accused have been identified as Mandan Lal son of Bihari Lal a resident of Model Town Shahkot and his son Rohit Arora.
Kulwinder Singh a native of Said Pur Jirri village and presently living in England complained to the police that the accused forcibly and illegally constructed a building on his plot in Model Town.
IO said a case under section 447(criminal trespass) of the IPC has been registered against the accused.
