A Nakodar village youth was electrocuted on Sunday.
Investigating officer (IO) Gurnam Singh said that the deceased has been identified as Rajinder Kumar (31) a resident of Nagal Jiwan village.
Sukhdev Singh a resident of Khan Pur Dhadda village told the police that the deceased was working when he touched an electric wire and was electrocuted.
IO said the police acting under section 174 of the Cr. P.C. on a statement from Sukhdev Singh handed over the body to the family after post-mortem.
