The Mehat Pur police have arrested a woman drug peddler on the charge of selling heroin.
Station House Officer (SHO) Gurinder Jit Singh Nagra said that 25 grams of contraband were recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Jaswinder Kaur wife of Balvir Singh a resident of Parjian Bihari Pur village under Sidhma Bet police station Ludhiana.
SHO said that a case under section 21(B) /61/85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused and sub-inspector Balwinder Singh is conducting further investigations.
