The Nakodar Sadar police have arrested the fourth accused wanted in a case of murdering a 35-year-old youth Kulvinder Singh son of Tarsem Sing a resident of Ladhe Wali village after five months of the crime.
Investigating Officer (IO)Nirmal Singh said that the accused Mohit alias Datter son of Sodhi a resident of Chak Muglanni village.
Kiranjit Kaur wife of the deceased had complained to the police that her husband Kulvinder Singh had gone to puddling(kaddu) land taken on rent on Ladhe Wali -Rasul Pur village on July 1, 2023, with his tractor where the accused had attacked him who had succumbed to his injuries.
IO said that a case under sections 302(murder) 341(wrongful restraint) and 148 and 149(rioting) of the Indian Penal Code was registered against the accused and his three accomplices were arrested earlier and two accomplices Ravinder Singh son of Harbhajan Singh a resident of Rasul Pur village, and Rajjat son of Kashmiri Lal a resident of Sarak Pur village are still absconding.
