JALANDHAR
On the directions of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, special camps will be organized on Monday ( January 15 ) in all the tehsils and sub-tehsils of the district to register the pending mutations.
Providing more information, Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Sarangal said that given the public interest, the district tehsil office Shahkot, Jalandhar-1, Jalandhar-2, Nakodar, Phillaur and Adampur apart from sub tehsil office Lohian, Mehatpur, Nurmahal, Bhogpur, and Kartarpur would organize special camps.
Sarangal further informed that the officials and employees of the revenue department will remain present in these camps and will register the pending transfers regarding the properties of the people. He said that instructions had already been issued to the officials to ensure the convenience of the people coming to the camps so that the people do not face any kind of problem. He said that 1718 mutation cases were registered under special camps organized at all Tehsils and sub-tehsils on January 6.
The Deputy Commissioner urged the people to avail maximum benefit of these camps which will be held from 9 am to 5 pm. He said that the people whose mutation cases are pending after the registration of their properties, can reach these camps on time and take advantage of the facility.
