The Lohian Khas police have booked a villager on the charge of brewing illicit country-made liquor.
Investigating officer Avtar Singh said that the accused has been identified as Satnam alias Satta a resident of Ismail Pur village.50 kg lahann(raw liquor) was recovered from his possession he managed to flee from the spot. A case under section 61/1/14 of the Excise Act has been registered against the accused.
