A police party led by Gurlal Singh,the incharge CIA staf Jaitu arrested Ajay Kumar, a resident of Kotkapura Wednesday.
The police said that accused was driving his motorcycle and when the police party signaled him to stop on suspicion, he got nervous and tried to escape. But the police nabbed him and during the search, 25 gram heroin was found in a poly bag from his motorcycle.
A case undersection 21 B and 61/85 of NDPS act has been registered against him at city police station Kotkapura.
