MOGA: Harmesh Singh,a resident of village Bahona allegedly chopped his estranged wife to death on January 7.
Sarbjeet Kaur,who had been divorced his husband at a Moga police station some times ago,was still living with his divorced husband.
But according to her son and daughter,who spoke to the media in Faridkot, she was in relationship with another person of the village and was going get married with him that day.
She also allegedly posted her objectionable reels on social media.
Her illicit relationship and social media posts allegedly enraged her husband to her murder.
She was allegedly attacked bu him on January 6 by a sharp edged weapon cutting her both arms,smashing her head and damaging her one eye.
The local first rushed her to civil hospital Moga from where she was referred to GGS Medical college Faridkot where she succumbed to her injuries.
Moga police first booked Jarmesh for attempted murder which was later on converted to section 302 of IPC after her death.
When she was attacked,according to her son and daughter,she was alone.
Speaking to the media,they held their mother responsible for her murder alleging that she was repeatedly made to realise her mistakes.
