A youth from village Bir Sikhan wala has been booked for attempted rape, outraging the modesty of minor girl, housetresspass and protection of children from sexual offece at Sadar police station Kotkapura.
The father of the minnor alleged that the accused entered his house in his absence while his minor daughter was alone at home and tried to rape her, tore her clothes and caught hold of her with bad intention.
"I am a vegetable vendor and I daily go to buy vegetables in the wee hours from vegetable market Kotkpaura. My son and daughter are at home alone as my wife has already died. But yesterday. My son left the house for some work and my daughter was alone at home.The accused entered my house in our absence and tried to commit the crime," stated the father of the victim.
The police have booked the accused under section 451/354/354AB,376,514 and 506 of IPC besides sections 7 and 8 of POCSO act .
