LOHIAN KHAS
The Lohian Khas police have booked unidentified villagers on the charge of brewing illicit country-made liquor.
The investigating officer Bhajan Singh said that the police recovered 600 kilograms of lahann(raw liquor) and utensils for brewing from Dhussi Bandh of River Sutlej near Ismail Pur village but the accused managed to flee from the spot.
A case under section 61/1/14 of the Excise Act has been registered against the unidentified accused.
