Government committed to providing clean administration to NRI’s:K.S.Dhaliwal

Punjab NRI Affairs Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal today said that the state government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann was committed to resolving issues of the NRI community while providing them with clean and transparent administration here in Punjab.

The minister was interacting with the media persons during the installation ceremony of newly elected NRI Sabha President Parvinder Kaur Banga. 

He also stated that the Punjab Government has already organized five NRI Milnis in the state wherein a total of 610 property-related complaints were received from NRIs of which 595 have already been settled by the government. Only a few have remained pending due to litigation in the court, he added.
 
The Minister further stated that the state government was working on evolving a vibrant mechanism to solve the issues of the NRI community within a short span of time so that they need not to extend their stay in Punjab in order to get their issues resolved at government level.

He also said that the Punjab Government was all set to organize another NRI Milni shortly in Pathankot district wherein NRIs from across the state will be invited to submit their suggestions and feedback. 

Parvinder Kaur took charge as President NRI Sabha here at the premises of the Sabha in the presence of Punjab NRI Affairs Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal, Deputy Speaker Punjab Vidhan Sabha Jai Krishan Singh Rauri, Member Parliament Sushil Kumar Rinku, Chairperson Punjab Warehousing Corporation Limiter Rajwinder Kaur Thiara and other dignitaries.
