The Nakodar Sadar police have arrested a woman drug peddler on the charge of selling heroin.
Station House Officer (SHO) Yadwinder Singh said that 50 grams of heroin were recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Rajani alias Rajji wife of Naresh Kumar a resident of Naino Wal Bed village under Bullowal police station Hoshiar Pur and presently living at Shankar village.
SHO said that a case under section 21(B) /61/85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused.
The Mehat Pur police also arrested two drug peddlers on the charge of selling heroin.
Investigating officer (IO) Gurnam Singh said that 20 grams of heroin were recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Amandeep Singh alias Aman son of Prem Singh and Pawan Deep Singh alias Pawan son of Balwant Singh residents of Bagian village under Shidhwan Bet police Station Ludhiana.
IO said that a case under section 21(B) /61/85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused and impounded a motorcycle on which they were traveling with the contraband.
