To invoke the blessings from the Almighty in this new year, the officials/employees of the district administrative complex on Monday organized the Path of Sri Sukhmani Sahib.
Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Sarangal exhorted the officials/employees to follow Guru Nanak Dev Ji's teaching of Kirat Karo (honest earning and living), Naam Japo (Chanting of the Name of God), Vand Chhako (sharing with others) in their lives.
Addressing the officials/employees after the bhog of Sri Sukhmani Sahib, organized by the staff of the DC office to welcome the New Year, here at the District Administrative Complex today, Sarangal emphasized prompt redressal of people's grievances to build the trust of the government. He said that the applications received by the people must be disposed of on a priority basis to facilitate the residents.
Sarangal asked them to understand the sentiments of the people and deal with them with utmost sensitivity. He said that any sort of inconvenience to the public must be avoided.
He expressed hope that they all would excel in their work during this year.
