SHAHKOT
The Shahkot police have arrested a villager on a charge of selling illicit liquor.
Investigating Officer Sarwann Singh said 15 bottles of hooch were seized from the possession of the accused identified as Sukhdev Raj alias Bittu a resident of Haji Pur village. A case under section 61/1/14 of the Punjab Excise Act was registered against the accused.
