Continuing its endeavour to initiate the developmental projects in the rural belt, Local Bodies Minister Balkar Singh on Saturday inaugurated road and sewerage projects in Warianna village of the district.
The Minister inaugurated road and sewerage projects worth several lakhs besides announcing a community hall worth Rs 25 lakh, Anganwadi centre for the village. The streetlights will also be installed, and a school will also be built in the village.
Balkar Singh said that he would continue to serve the people and safeguard their best interests. He said that he had been working to take development works in the villages and bring them to par with cities.
Later, the Minister also told the district administration to hold a camp under Sarkar Tuhade Dwar so that every eligible beneficiary can avail benefit of the welfare schemes of the government.
