NAKODAR.
The Nakodar Sadar police have arrested a drug peddler on the charge of selling poppy husk.
Investigating officer (IO) Jasvir Singh said that 6.5 kilograms of poppy husk were recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Sewak Ram son of Balwinder Singh a resident of Malsian village under Shahkot police station.
IO said that a case under section 15(B) /61/85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused.
