Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Sarangal on Friday directed the officials of different departments to ensure the proper implementation of flagship programs of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann-led Punjab Government.
After participating in a review meeting chaired by Punjab Chief Secretary Anurag Verma, the Deputy Commissioner took stock of progress achieved under various programs including doorstep delivery of ration, doorstep delivery of citizen services, Mukhya Mantri Tirath Yatra Scheme, CM Di Yogshala, PEHEL scheme.
Reviewing the progress of doorstep delivery of citizen services, the DC directed the officials to ensure applicants do not face any sort of problem while availing the benefit of these services.
He also asked the officials to obtain all the necessary verification from revenue officers to facilitate applicants opting for doorstep delivery of these services.
The deputy commissioner also stated that any kind of inordinate delay in these services would be highly unwarranted as he was personally monitoring the progress of these flagship welfare programs daily.
He further asked the officials to prepare advanced programs under the Mukhya Mantri Tirath Yatra Scheme so that maximum devotees can take advantage of this program by visiting prominent religious places.
