DC hands over certificates to 18 students undergone -one year of computer course

Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Sarangal on Thursday handed over certificates to 18 students who have undergone a one-year computer course.
The course was organized by the Child Welfare Council headed by the Deputy Commissioner every year. The classes were being held in Rajiv Gandhi Computer Institute situated inside the Red Cross Bhawan, Lajpat Nagar.
Exhorting the students to work hard to scale new heights in their lives, Sarangal said the one-year computer course would help them sharpen their skills and further get gainful employment. He also congratulated the students and wished them a bright future.
Calling upon others to avail the benefit of this course being imparted here, the Deputy commissioner said that the dedicated staff had been deployed in the center to impart training to the students. He said that a monthly fee of Rs 400 was being charged to each of the students. He said that under the course, subjects like computer fundamentals and operating systems, software applications tools, RDBMS/DBMS, c++, Computer Account, HTML, and Hardware were taught to the students.
The Deputy Commissioner said that there was no age bar for joining the computer classes and anyone interested in the course, can contact Red Cross Bhawan.
