The Shahkot police have arrested a drug peddler on the charge of selling intoxicant tablets.
Investigating officer (IO)Sulindar Singh said that 305 intoxicant tablets were recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Harpreet Singh alias Happy son of Baljit Singh a resident of Bau Pur village.
IO said that a case under section 22(B) /61/85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused.
