The Lohian Khas police have arrested Balwinder Kumar alias Bindi a resident of ward no.90 Lohian Khas and Shindi a resident of Nalh village on the charge of gambling.
The investigating officer Kashmir said that the accused were selling betting slips in the town street and recovered from their possession Rs 8770 and betting slips with two pens. A case under sections 13-A-3 -67 of the Punjab Gambling Act has been registered against the accused.
