NAKODAR
The Nakodar Sadar police have arrested a villager and his mother on the charge of raping a minor girl.
Investigating Officer (IO) Jasvir Singh said that the accused has been identified as Jagdeep Kumar alias Jakhu son of Lashkari Ram a resident of Ladharr village and his mother Chandar Prabha.
IO said that a case under sections 376(rape)) 506(criminal intimidation) and 201(causing disappearance of evidence of an offense or giving false information to screen offender) of the Indian Penal Code and sections 3- 4 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses Act -2012 was registered against the accused.
